No more waiting on an invoice after the registration request period closes in order to be able to pay for registration fees! Once a family has finished requesting registration for a tournament, they can then complete checkout and pay for their tournament fees at any time up to registration closing for that tournament.
Here are all the details. (Consider bookmarking this article for questions that come up throughout the season!)
Getting Started
To begin tournament registration, log into your account to MyPlace.
- Tap Tournaments located on the left-hand column of MyPlace.
- Locate the specific tournament name and tap Enter.
- Select Registration and add events for each competitor.
Before Registration Day
Prior to registration request closing date, add events for each competitor (and, if appropriate, Team Policy and Duo partners). Go to the cart to complete the checkout process. A receipt will be sent via email.
Pro Tip: If there are events for multiple tournaments in the cart, select only the events for the tournament you wish to pay for in this transaction. In addition, be sure to check all events for each student for the specific tournament.
Next, registration fees must be paid prior to the registration requisition period closing in order to be processed with priority registration. New events can not be added to the cart after registration closes. All registration request closing dates can be found in MyPlace.
After Registration Closes
Once registration closes, any unpaid registrations will remain in cart and a late fee will be added; these items can be paid for but will not be given priority registration. Unpaid fees will be cleared from carts when check-in opens.
Registrar Day
The day after registration closes is Registrar Day. On this day, the Registrar will process paid registrations only. An email will be sent confirming registration is complete and/or notifying of any waitlisted events (Event Waitlists).
Pro Tip: Meals will typically open on Registrar Day.
Late Registrations
Late registration opens the day after Registrar Day. A $25 late fee per competitor per tournament will be added to any new registrations. At this time, it is possible to pay for any previously unpaid registrations or new registrations as space allows; space is not secured until payment is made.
If waitlisted for an event, confirmation email will provide two options.
1) Stay on the waitlist.
- No action is required from the family.
- Competitors will be moved off of the waitlist as space becomes available; an email will be sent.
- Registrar will process refunds after the tournament ends for any competitors remaining on a waitlist.
2) Request removal from the waitlist
- If a family wishes to drop an event and be removed from the waitlist, they must contact the Registrar at gro.ACFCN @rartsigeR.
- Family requests a refund from Order History on their dashboard.
- The Finance Office approves and processes the refund.
