Tournament Check-In
All participants must check in during the designated timeframe prior to each tournament. Failure to complete this process can lead to being dropped from the tournament.
Tournament Check-In
Understand the guidelines and regulations that govern NCFCA competitions and events. Familiarize yourself with our policies to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Check-In Requirement
Tournament Check-In is MANDATORY and TIME SENSITIVE. From your dashboard, find your tournament, and click the Enter button. Find the Information button to see when Check-In opens and closes for each tournament. Mark your calendar!
Both competitors and parents must complete the process within the check-in window
Failure to check in will cause a competitor to be dropped from the tournament.
Check-In Steps
- Once the check-in window opens, go to your dashboard, find your tournament under “My Upcoming Tournaments”, click the Enter button, and look for the Check-in button on the right side of your screen.
- Each person will log into their account to check-in separately using the email address in their profile with the family account.
When competitors check in, they will
- Verify profile information
- Confirm events
- Submit any required scripts. See the Script Submission Tips section for help.
- Certify compliance with NCFCA rules and the Ethics Statement.
When parents check in, they will
- Verify the phone number for the tournament. (Changing the number here changes it only for the tournament.)
- Review the status of required script submissions and submit scripts for students if the student has not already done so.
- Complete Check-In by certifying tournament preparation review and judge training for the season.
- View status of competitor check-in for the family
- (See video demo of parent check in process )
When all check-in steps are complete, the dashboard will indicate that check-in is complete. It may be necessary to refresh the browser screen for this verification. (The Check-in Button will continue to display under My Registration until check-in closes.)
Script Submission
All platform and interpretation events require competitors to upload a script of their speech. Please see the Speech Guidelines for details regarding the script requirements for each event.
From the Script Submission step in the Check-In Process, click each event to open up the submission form. Scripts must be submitted in .pdf (preferred), doc, .docx, .jpg, or .png format.
