About Our Region

We are home to multiple clubs and tournaments in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. Our students train and compete in our region and travel all over the country for national competitions as they gain skills that will serve them well for a lifetime.

Heather Sampson
Region 4 & 5 Director
Heather and her husband Kevin live in Kansas and have two adult sons, both of whom competed in NCFCA beginning in 2014. Heather earned a BA in Journalism and Public Relations from Kansas State University and a Masters in Teaching and Leadership from Kansas University. Heather’s hobbies include gardening, stand up paddleboarding, interior design, reading, and bird watching.
