League Policies
We believe all our communication reflects who we are and what we think. Therefore, our online conduct should reflect the same standards of honesty, respect, and consideration that we use during face-to-face interaction. We encourage online conduct that honors the Lord and maintains a clear Christian witness. NCFCA students, leadership, parents, and coaches should avoid posting or sending material that is obscene, defamatory, profane, libelous, threatening, harassing, abusive, or hateful to any other person or entity. This type of communication is directly contrary to our mission.
Individuals certainly have the right to express themselves, but Christians should remember that the method and content of their expression also reflects on the body of Christ. Further, if an affiliate’s actions or statements, whether in person or otherwise, are harmful or create a threatening environment to NCFCA, our affiliates, partners, etc., then that affiliate is subject to disciplinary action up to and including revocation of their status as an affiliate in good standing.
Social Media Outreach on Behalf of NCFCA
We encourage our affiliates to share judge invitations and other information about NCFCA with their own local social circle and social media connections. It is also permissible for affiliates to share invitations and information with any local organizations or social media groups to which they belong in accordance with the policies of that group and with discretion regarding whether the members are likely to favorably receive information about our league and find it relevant.Â
We do not want judge coordinators or anyone else to pay for advertising on social media or publish information about our tournaments to groups of people that they are not members of and familiar with enough to feel confident that most of the members would be a good fit for participation with our league.
Affiliates are welcome to share their own tasteful and appropriate pictures, videos, and messages in accordance with their unique social media engagement style. NCFCA does not assume any responsibility or liability for the use of personal photos or images taken by participants at our events.Â
- Please do not use the NCFCA logo with content you have created yourself.Â
- Please use extra consideration if you are posting photos or videos of individuals that are not members of your family.
