Semper Paratus
Welcome to Semper Paratus! Our Latin name meaning Always Ready reflects our club's mission for our student's to fulfill the command found in 1 Pet 3:15 to "...always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you..." The primary focus of our club is to enhance students' critical thinking & communication skills resulting in real-world application. This can be accomplished in the supportive and competitive environment of speech and debate. Our prayer is that the Lord will use these students to further His kingdom by living and articulating a Biblical worldview and the gospel message.
