John and his wife Raquel live in a small rural town in western Idaho. They have two adult children and one grandson. Their son competed in NCFCA for 5 years. John holds a BS in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University and a MBA from Boise State University. John is a licensed professional engineer in five states and President of a consulting engineering company. He is an elder and teacher in his local Church and enjoys, reading, writing, and gardening.
