Many thanks to Director of Student Recruitement, Stephen Pierce, for his contribution to this post.

What makes PHC unique?

The Mission of Patrick Henry College is to prepare Christian men and women who will lead our nation and shape our culture with timeless biblical values and fidelity to the spirit of the American founding. Educating students according to a classical liberal arts curriculum and training them with apprenticeship methodology, the College provides academically excellent baccalaureate-level higher education with a biblical worldview.

The unique fusion of three distinctives sets Patrick Henry College apart from any other college in the world. High academic rigor, fidelity to the spirit of the American founding, and unwavering biblical worldview make us a top destination for bright, godly, and driven young leaders from across the nation. PHC prepares its graduates to make immediate and enduring impact for Christ and for liberty.

What does PHC offer NCFCA students?

Patrick Henry College (PHC) is the #1 collegiate forensics program in the nation, with national teams competing in Moot Court, Civic Debate, and Mock Trial.  Patrick Henry College has an established legacy of producing national champions. Our heritage is distinguished by dedicated faculty, coaches, alumni, and students who are intensely focused on improving the program while enhancing their impact on the world for Christ. We offer several Teen Leadership camps each year that focus on Moot Court, debate, or speech, as well as a Leadership & Worldview camp to prepare you for your next steps as a leader in our culture. Finally, we offer a Forensics Scholarships ranging from $500 per year to $10,000 per year depending on the student’s level of talent and tournament performance during their high school years.

The things I love most about NCFCA are the same things I love most about PHC: the focus on Christ, the community of driven and godly believers, and the pursuit of excellence. NCFCA gave me an opportunity in middle and high school to hone the intellectual and forensic skills that I am continuing to cultivate by being challenged at this rigorous college. Just as important, NCFCA was instrumental in my faith and my friendships. PHC has continued to foster growth in my life in those most important areas. The Lord used NCFCA to bring me to and prepare me for PHC, and I feel so at home in a college that is so much like my experience in NCFCA.
