When we had to cancel the remainder of the 2020 competition season due to a global pandemic, the weight settled on us like a rock. What if we could not hold our in-person tournaments? How would we meet our mission? How would we challenge and equip students? How would we continue to exist? And a thousand other questions…
But God.
God had already provided the team and the technology that we would use to build an online platform in just eight short months. I wasn’t sure that it could be done, but God was. His provision was nothing short of miraculous in any number of ways—from people, to technology, to financial resources—the Lord held nothing back.
While many of our affiliate families were suffering disappointment, frustration, hardship, and loss, NCFCA was able to provide an outlet - an opportunity to fellowship together, to lean on one another, to think deeply about issues that really matter, and to sharpen our communication skills in a new way. God not only helped us weather the tumult of the past few seasons, but also brought us out stronger on the other side. We are more prepared than ever to serve Christian students and families in an effort to grow ambassadors for Christ who can speak truth with integrity and grace.
The story of God’s faithfulness fills these pages. We are grateful for your support and encouragement through these seasons of change. Thank you for being a part of the NCFCA family.
